Flash Action Football is inspired by the retro tabletop game, Electric Football.
The game basically follows the same rules as American Football with YOU controlling the players as head coach.

Strategically place your players, throw accurately, and score a touchdown or field goal to win! Turnovers (failure to get a first down) and Interceptions (throwing to the defense) are game over.

PLAYER COLORS
- Light Blue/Blue:     Center/Offensive Linemen
- Purple:     Quarter Back
- Orange:     Running Back, eligible receiver
- Yellow:     Wide Receiver,  eligible receiver
- Green:     Tight End, eligible receiver
- Red:    Defense

OFFENSE SET UP
- Left Click: Move players, set route and direction if eligible receiver
- Right Click: Rotate players
- Scroll Wheel: Change camera angle
You need at least 7 players on the line of scrimmage  and your players cannot cross the line of scrimmage during set up.

GAMEPLAY
After hiking the ball...
- Space Bar: Pause the Gameplay to see offensive options
- Hand Off: Running Backs in range of the Quarter Back can be clicked on to hand the ball off to for a running play.
- Throw: Click and drag the ball to aim, release to throw.
                    Left Click is an arc pass. Right Click is a straight pass.
                    The ball can only be caught by eligible receivers
- AD or Left/Right Arrows: Turn Player with ball
- Tab: Overhead camera view
- Escape: Pause Menu

You have 4 downs (or attempts) to reach the end zone for a touchdown. Crossing the yellow first down line resets your downs to 1. The scoreboard shows which down and how far the first down is.

When a Player has the ball. Any contact with the Defense results in a tackle.
Running Backs with the ball must be touched by two Defenders behind the line of scrimmage to be tackled.

A pass is Incomplete if the Player is in contact (or engaged) with the opposing team, the Player is out of bounds, or the ball goes out of bounds.

Press the "Field Goal" Button to attempt a field goal for 3 points.
